Springville Elementary Principal, Mr. Chris Hill welcomed new teachers on July 19. Mrs. Wilks, Mrs. Brasher, Mrs. Wright, Mrs. Martin and Mrs. Haynes.

The Springville Public Library hosted Summer Reading 2023 Finale with face painting, snow cones, and friends from Frozen on July 12.

Mike Ennis and the Rotary Club hosted Katrina Freeman, MA, NCC, LPC-S with Derrick Grayson who spoke about mental health issues and awareness on July 13.

The Springville Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony with city leaders on July 22 to welcome Laster’s (back) to the community as an ice cream shop.

Springville Elementary School will host MEET THE TEACHER on Tuesday, August 1 from 4-6 p.m. for 1st and 3rd grades. and Wednesday, August 2nd from 4-6 p.m. for 2nd and 4th grades.

The SHS Girls Volleyball Team is hosting Girls Youth Volleyball Camp on July 31, Aug. 1 and Aug. 3 from 1-4 p.m. each day. Cost is $60 per player and includes a t-shirt. Sign up on Remind: Text @khfd9d to 81010.
